Looking for a quiet room to study, in leads Haruhi Fujioka, a female student with short brunette hair and a gender ambiguous face, to work as a male host in school with 6 other male students. The hosts entertain girls by talking to them or sitting next to them while the girls smother them with compliments and cake. At first Haruhi just wanted to study in peace, but when she accidentally knocking over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000 (approximately $80,00), it leads her to pay off the debt as an errand boy. One day, one of the female students confused Haruhi Fujioka as a male host and all the female students went crazy for him. The other hosts saw this as an opportunity to make more fame throughout the school, so instead of being an errand boy- Haruhi Fujioka would now be a host, entertaining the female students along with Tamiki Suoh, Kyoya OotorI, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachin, Mitsukini “Honey” Haninozuka, and Takashi “Mori” Morinozuka. Ouran Elite Academy encompasses pre-school through high school and has an attached university program. Most students come from elite families, but a scholarship is annually awarded to the top scorer on a rigorous entrance examination. Haruhi Fujioka was awarded the scholarship to attend the prestigious school.  Check out this anime when you get some time this holiday season.  It is a really fun watch.
