December’s Freshman of the Month is Chae-ann Lawrence. She didn’t choose FDR as her high school; it’s her zone school. She has never gone to her zone school before, so she decided to try the school out. She really liked the freshman BBQ and thinks the teachers at FDR High School are really friendly. Chae-ann has joined the The New Dealer staff.  She thinks the club is good for her, because she wants to pursue a career in writing. She believes her teachers are motivating her, because they see her potential and want her to do better. Her experience so far at FDR High School has been great. She has made a lot of friends from different countries and her own. She thinks she was chosen to be Freshman of the Month, because she has worked hard to get great grades.  Congrats Chae-ann!  Welcome to the Cougar Family!!
