Scream (1) Ever wonder where the fear of answering strange phone calls when home alone came from? If so, it came from the Scream saga. Starting with the original, the opening of the movie brings the character Casey home alone, and spoiler alert, she is the first of Ghost face’s victims. At the end of the movie, there is a reveal to who the Ghost face was, and to our surprise there was not just one, but two of them- Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. While Stu was involved out of boredom, Billy had other motives. He was dating Sidney Prescott for some time only to take revenge for the affair between Sidney’s mother and his father. Billy blames Sidney’s mother for tearing his family apart, and after her mother’s death, the anger he still has is taken out on Sidney and the town of Woodsboro. Little did they know there would be more ghost faces that took inspiration from the first one to terrorize Sidney for the next few decades…

Halloween(1) The story behind Michael Myers dates all the way back to his childhood. On Halloween night in 1963, Michael had been only 6 years old and had murdered his sister Judith Myers. Since then he had been in a sanatorium for 15 years and had plotted an escape. Once escaped, he’d stalked his sister Laurie and tormented her by killing her friends, again, on halloween. For many years Michael had targeted Laurie. But why Laurie? Laurie was adopted by the Myers family, and at first Michael targeted her for that. As the years went by, every chance he had he tried to kill Laurie- but she survived. Time after time the motive for killing went from being revenge on his family, to him seeing her as the perfect victim. Year after year, Halloween after Halloween, Michael Myers’ returns to torment and kill Laurie but fails. However, he manages to kill numerous people along the way. In the end of each Halloween movie, they show an on screen death for Michael…. but he always comes back…

Friday the Thirteenth The infamous slasher killer is known as Jason Voorhees. In his early childhood he was born with a disease that caused physical deformities. Later on, the deformities resulted in being the subject of bullying. His mother, Pamela Voorhees had sheltered him for most of his early childhood to protect him from the cruel words and acts of others. She had taken a job at a summer camp at Crystal Lake as a cook, and brought Jason with her. Unfortunately for Jason, he was a target for bullying by the other camp kids, and out of fear, Jason jumped into the lake and was presumed dead by drowning. Pamela was devastated and blamed the camp counselors for their irresponsibility resulting in Jason’s death. When the camp reopened the next summer of ‘62, she murdered them. As Jason was not in fact dead, he survived on his own in a cabin and sought out revenge on summer camp counselors…… and began his rampage.
