The Sophomore of the Month is Martha Garcia. Martha thinks it is a dream come true to be attending FDR High School. During her freshman year, she has met many amazing teachers and made great friends. She has joined the Key Club and the Environmental Club. She would never want to change schools, because her experiences at FDR have surpassed her expectations of high school. Martha’s advice for incoming sophomores is to prepare for hard work and join many clubs. According to Martha, clubs are a great way to meet new people and learn many new things. She thinks she is doing really well in all her classes. Martha’s favorite classes are Chemistry and Global History.  She likes studying Global, because she would one day like to be a History teacher. Martha believes she was selected, because of her good grades, hard work, and the good example she sets for other students. Keep up the good work!
