Interested In Business Or Finance? Trying To Get Involved?

Interested+In+Business+Or+Finance%3F+Trying+To+Get+Involved%3F

Are you interested in business, finance, or communication? What about medicine or computer science?

It doesn’t matter what field you are in; the Biznet Fintalk Club helps with any future career.  From being a mathematician to a neurologist, you will always have to know how to manage your personal finance or how to get up the corporate hierarchy or maybe even start your own business.

The Biznet Fintalk Club is referring to 4 clubs that rotates every week!

Here is more information about each club:

Business Club- Learn how to start a business and the skills needed to do so.

Networking Club-Get to meet ambitious students.

Finance Club- Learn more about how to earn, manage, and invest your money such as the stock market.

Ted-Talk Club- Have the chance to perform Ted-talks and learn public speaking.

So, one week you might be on a trip to Wall Street with the finance club, and another day will be a guest speaker from NYU, talking about business with the Business Club. The clubs take place weekly Fridays, 9th period. Please follow us on Instagram: biznetfintalk.fdrhs REQUIRED: Also, please join our Google Classroom at: 5TL4JfD

Also, the Biznet Fintalk Club host three competitive teams. They would operate outside of club meeting times and most likely be on the weekends. You do NOT need to be in a team to be in the clubs. However, they will be a great opportunity to compete nationally, gain experience, and possibly win monetary awards. I have strong confidence in our business and finance teams to place top nationally with advice from past winners and from my years of experience in these competitions.

The Finance Team will compete in the National Personal Finance Challenge. Find more information here: FinanceChallenge (unl.edu)

The Math Modeling Team will compete in the M3 challenge. Find more information here: MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge (M3 Challenge) (siam.org)

For the Business team, we are unsure what competition we will be in.

If you are interested in any of these teams, please find the applications in Google Classroom. Lastly, feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any questions regarding the club or teams!
