Congratulations to Freshman of the Month, Christine McCoy.  Christine was nominated by Ms. Galante for her dedication to her school, character, and strong values.  Christine is currently a member of the FDR Softball team.  She is interested in possibly joining the Origami Club, Arts and Crafts Club, and the Soccer team next year.  Not only is Christine getting involved in after school activities, she also getting it done in the classroom.  She is currently in English and Global Honors.  Christine works as a teacher’s aide at St. Simone and the Jude School after school.  In the future, Christine would like to be a teacher.  According to Ms. Galante, Christine is always looking to help others.  Christine values hard work, and she does not let obstacles get in her way.  Christine would like to thank Ms. Galante, Ms. O’Keefe, and everyone who has supported her at FDR.  The FDR family is very happy to have this rising star!
