Congratulations to Ms. Messina’s students who took the 2016 National Spanish Exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. These students of distinction earned a metal for their placement on the National Scholarship Contest, which measures achievement and proficiency in the Spanish Language.  Earning National recognition were:

Over 160,000 students across the United States took the exam and over 4,000 students within the New York Metropolitan Area.  On Saturday, May 21st, the New York Metropolitan Chapter Honored
Eduardo Romero, Daisy Olivan, Emanuel Gutierrez, and Diana Rodas with an Honorable Mention Medal and Certificate at Stuyvesant High School.
