Many people are saying goodbye to their childhood, as their favorite stores are going out of business for good this year. Word on the street is that the well known, and very large toy distributor, Toys R Us, is filing for bankruptcy and closing down all its stores by the end of the week! This news is breaking many hearts out there. It seems that the obsession over video games and electronics has finally shown its impact. Even stores, such as Claires, is filing for bankruptcy as well and calling it quits, after being open since 1961.

Black Panther passed the 1 billion dollar mark at the global box office, in only 26 days breaking the record. The only other Marvel movies to have ever done this are The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie was such a hit that Delta Airlines was offering flights to Wakanda, the fictional African nation in the movie and comics. It has been confirmed that there will be a sequel produced.

As an attempt to help out Flint during their water crisis, Will and Jaden Smith’s company have decided to donate water to them until the lead levels drop. Last Tuesday marked the 1,412th day since the people of Flint, Michigan have had clean and safe water. The Smith’s have an eco-friendly water company that has donated about 9,200 bottles of water to the city. They will donate water bottles on a monthly basis until the crisis is over. It is great to see those who have the ability to help out and make a difference, do so.
