Everyone can participate in a range of activities during National Parks Week even if you can’t get to the Grand Canyon. NYC parks offer guided hikes, bird viewing, and outdoor yoga courses. Central Park is a must-visit location in NYC! Everyone can explore the park’s many attractions, such as the Bethesda Fountain, the Central Park Zoo, and the Bow Bridge, by renting bicycles or riding in a horse-drawn carriage.

The High Line, a distinctive elevated park that traverses the city’s West Side, is another must-see park. The High Line provides free tours and a range of programs, such as sustainable tours, astronomy events, and family art workshops, throughout National Parks Week.

Another excellent park to visit during National Parks Week is Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Together with a lake and the famous Brooklyn Botanic Garden, it has miles of hiking trails.
