The New Dealer is proud to honor, this year’s Female Athlete of the Year, Nan Zhang.

Nan Zhang

After taking a year off from basketball to concentrate on her academics, Nan put together a fine senior season.  Nan’s statistics included 9 points per game, 6 rebounds, and 1 ½ assists. According to Coach Patamarapipan, “Even though her statistics are not eye-popping, Nan is probably the best all-around female basketball player to come through FDR in the past 6 years.  She is able to dribble, pass, shoot, and attack the rim all while under control.”  Nan will be truly missed.  Nan will be attending Pace University next year.
