This edition’s Female Athletes of the Month are seniors, Melanie Nebavlakis and Jailyne Ramirez. Melanie and Jailyne were chosen for their commitment to the Girls Basketball team during a challenging season. Both Lady Cougars averaged a solid 6 points and 8 rebounds a game.  Coach P picked both his players for this honor because, according to P, “They are both outstanding leaders and players.  I could not possibly chose one.  Either they both get the award, or no one gets the award.”  Melanie is a 3 year player on the Varsity team, and Jailyne is a three sport star.  She plays Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball!
