Numan Ghuman – Senior of the Month

Numan+Ghuman+-+Senior+of+the+Month

Numan Ghuman is one of FDR’s finest.  He truly enjoys attending FDR.  He believes he has been fortunate to have teachers who teach beyond the curriculum.  He feels his teachers care, not only about the classroom, but about life after school.  His favorite subjects are History and English.  He has always had a knack for History, ever since elementary school.  He understands that history repeats itself, and we need to start learning from the pasts mistakes.  As for English, he simply loves doing what he is passionate about, writing.

Numan is very active at FDR.  He is a member of the Ambassadors, Environmentalist Club, and the National Honors Society.   He joined the Ambassadors, so he could give back to his school.  The Environmentalist club lets him explore global problems and seek solutions for them.  Last but not least, the NHS values character, commitment, and selflessness.  These are all virtues he personally believes in.

He highly recommends that new students at FDR should get involved in clubs that represent their unique views.  In addition, he thinks that many departments, like Math, can be a great place for new students to get involved.  He feels that the teachers in that department really do a great job of reaching out to younger students.

Numan is humbled by this honor.  He thinks he was selected, because he is very helpful to the staff at FDR.  He is very grateful that they selected him.

Congratulations Numan.  You are an inspiration for younger, up and coming, Cougars!
